New Delhi: Asad Ahmed, Atiq Ahmed’s son was today shot dead by the Uttar Pradesh Police’s special task force.
Asad and Ghulam Maksudan, both wanted in Umesh Pal murder case was shot dead today.

He was wanted in the Umesh Pal murder case.

Who was Asad Ahmed?
Asad Ahmed, son of gangster-turned-politician Atiq Ahmed.
There was no case againt him till last few months.
He later turned out to be one of the most wanted man after he allegedly led a gang of shooters for killing Umesh Pal in Prayagraj.
Who was Umesh Pal?
Umesh Pal was the key witness in the murder case of of Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) leader Raju Pal and of the two securites.
On February 24, Umesh Pal was shot dead in Prayagraj’s Sulem Saray area.
He was shot several times and also bombs were hurled at Umesh Pal and his armed securities.
Earlier today, Atiq Ahmed and his brother Ashraf was brought to UP’s CJM Court.
