New Delhi: Upping the ante against Modi govt, Rahul Gandhi on Saturday tried to corner the Centre by questioning the source of funding in PMCARES.
Firing a direct salvo at Prime Minister, Rahul said that everybody knows that Chinese companies have donated money in PMCARES, then why the PM is afraid of disclosing the names of those who donated money.
He alleged that the PMCARES fund has received donations from Chinese giants like Huawei, Xiaomi, TikTok and OnePlus.
Taking to Twitter, the Congress leader asked PM Modi to share the details of those who donated money.

About PMCARES Fund
Prime Minister’s Citizen Assistance and Relief in Emergency Situations Fund (PM -CARES Fund) was set up to meet the challenges emerging from Covid-19 pandemic and to help in relief measuers.
The fund has been in question as the government has refused to share its details and has been kept outside the purview of RTI.
