New Delhi: The incidents of pet dogs biting and severely injuring common residents are escalating in and around the Delhi NCR region, resulting in shock and fear amongst people.
Very recently, a video showing a pet dog brutally biting a boy inside the elevator of a housing society in the Ghaziabad district of Uttar Pradesh triggered ire online. Internet users further showed outrage against the insensitivity of the dog owner in the incident.
Days after, a similar video of a dog attack occurred, this time from a residential society in Noida. In the clip, a man can be seen holding his pet dog by the leash at the end of the lift while another person stands close to the entrance.
As soon as the elevator stops at a floor and the man moves towards the doors of the lift, the pet dog lunges towards the person who jumps and falls on the floor in order to escape the jaw of the animal.
The incident took place in Apex Athena society in Sector 75 in Noida and was captured on the CCTV installed inside the lift.
In the end, the owner of the pet and be seen trying to control the dog while dragging him out of the elevator, though it is still unclear if the man was bitten or not.

The video went viral on social media soon as it was posted online, with netizens demanding immediate action against the pet owner while also tagging the concerned authorities.
