Yoga Day at UN HQ: List of dignitaries & personalities who will join PM Modi for celebrations

PM Modi, along with hundreds of global diplomats, dignitaries, scholars & academicians will celebrate the Yoga Diwas, between 8 AM to 9 AM, at the UN’s North Lawn.

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, beginning his three-day visit to United States on June 21, will lead hundreds of global dignitaries & bureaucrats in celebrating the International Yoga Day at the United States Headquarters in New York.

For the historic occasion at UN HQ, member states, dignitaries from 180 nations including scholars, diplomats & host of entrepreneurs will assemble at the South Lawns and join PM Modi in performing yoga asanas.

PM Modi, along with hundreds of global diplomats, dignitaries, scholars & academicians will celebrate the Yoga Diwas, between 8 AM to 9 AM, at the UN’s North Lawn. All the preparations and arrangements have been done and is set to start in a shortwhile.

For Indian residents, who are waiting for historic summit on their screens, can expect to watch between 5.30 PM – 6.30 PM.
