Yogi govt to extend Rs 50 lakh financial aid to the family of Kanpur soldier martyred in Rajouri Terrorist Attack

Lucknow: In the terrorist attack in Rajouri, Jammu and Kashmir, on Friday, five soldiers of the country lost their lives, including Karan Kumar from Kanpur district, Uttar Pradesh. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has expressed sorrow over the soldier’s demise in the attack and offered heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family. In a tribute to the fallen soldier, CM Yogi has announced financial assistance of Rs 50 lakh to the family and a government job for one family member.

Road will be named after the martyr

In a post on the X from CM Yogi’s office, it was conveyed, “While fulfilling his duty in Rajouri, Jammu and Kashmir, soldier Karan Kumar, a resident of Kanpur district, made the supreme sacrifice. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has paid tribute to him and announced financial assistance of Rs 50 lakh to the martyr’s family, along with a government job for a family member and the naming of a road in the district after the martyr. The Uttar Pradesh government will extend all possible assistance to the martyr’s family. In this moment of sorrow, the government stands firmly with them.”
