New Delhi: YS Sharmila, the president of YSR Telangana Party (YSRTP) on Monday roughed up some policemen outside her residence as the latter prevented her from visiting SIT office over TSPSC question leak case.
The YSRTP chief manhandled the police personnel including the women cops and allegedly slapped them as the they tried to restrict her from enter her car. The cops reportedly reached her residence in Lotus Pond area of Hyderabad today, after getting to know that she was headed to SIT office for ‘creating ruckus’.
The cops detained her as the latter lost her cool on police personnel and started ‘getting physical’ with them.
YS Sharmila is the daughter of former CM of Andhra Pradesh YS Rajsekhara Reddy and sister of incumbent CM Jagan Mohan Reddy.
In the video shared by ANI, the YSRTP chief can be seen angrily arguing with the cops and then heading towards here car by ‘pushing aside’ cops.
While rushing towards her car, YS Sharmila also manhandled the cops, as is seen in the video.

As the cops try to restrict her, she charged towards the vehicle & tried to enter but then again prevented by female constables. It’s then the leader ‘drunk on power’ allegedly slaps the woman cop. Post the police action, Sharmila also sat on sit-in protest outside her residence.
Though, more details of the case are yet to emerge, this ‘arrogance’ of YSRTP president got the Twitter talking.
Many netizens called out Andhra CM Jagan Reddy’s sister for her brazen arrogance while others slammed her for orchestrating a drama for ‘public sympathy’.
