New Delhi: The 37-year-old India-origin techie, Parag Agrawal has been made the CEO of Twitter on Monday, soon after the co-founder Jack Dorsey announced his resignation from the respective post. Parag Agrawal did his Bachelors in Engineering in computer science from the Indian Institute of Technology Mumbai. For further studies, he moved to the US and secured his doctorate from Stanford University based in California.
Currently, Parag is considered to be the youngest CEO in the S&P 500. Though the social media are flooding with congratulatory wishes, a section of the netizens reacted to the news with hilarious memes and jokes. “Agrawal ji ka beta” has been trading on the micro-blogging site since the new CEO of Twitter has been appointed.

Agrawal took to Twitter to recall his initial days when he joined the company a decade ago when there were barely 1,000 employees. He further expressed his gratitude towards Jack Dorsey for his mentorship and friendship.
Besides, Twitter has revealed that CEO Parag will be given an annual compensation of $1 million along with a stock compensation of $12.5 million.
