On the surface, the fashion industry appears to be one of the most glamourous ones in the world, but the truth is one needs a lot of commitment and dedication to make their way in the industry. It is always better to look for professionals for inspiration when it comes to making a name in the industry. We recently caught up with a 25-year-old model and social media star Maria Burnei aka Maeva Jane.
Even though she didn’t have any prior connection to the fashion industry, she managed to make waves with her work in the best way possible. Maria’s journey has been nothing less than incredible and fascinating. The diva said, “From a small age I was surrounded by artists. I haven’t had my parents around me to shape me and to take them as my models of inspiration in life so I was always around my older friends, most of them were photographers, videographers, radio artists, journalists and so on. I was raised with a strong sense of aesthetics and that inspired me to make my way to the fashion industry.”
That is the reason why Maria was influenced by the world of self-expression and art. Her fashion and modelling just became another way of expressing her uniqueness and eventually, she became a part of a small tribe of artists who shared her vision.
Maria has been involved with a number of projects in her career and what makes her unique is her willingness to be vulnerable in front of the camera. She takes a lot of pride in being a self-made woman as she discovered her own path without following in someone’s footsteps.
After a successful stint in the modelling industry, Maria now has creative plans to pursue different forms of art. She said, “During the past months I’ve been collaborating with the director of this photo video production studio, I’m an assistant content creator, travelling all around Europe and internationally, promoting businesses, creating social media promotion content for their companies. I love so much what I’m doing right now, exploring the world, entering in contact with eager, creative and inspirational people. My next goals are to open a photo video production studio here in Holland in the next year I hope, I already made the business plan and also starting next year I’ll start my university in the Netherlands on Visualisation 3D Graphic design, Amsterdam. I’m so excited to learn and expand my skills.”
Maria’s journey is a testimony to the fact that with zeal and courage anyone can achieve their dreams and find peace in life. Today she is a freelance model and she is making a killing at it.
