Delhi Riots: Art of Deception Under the Veil of Constitution

The plot to harm the integrity of this country began last year through the academic channels especially Jamia Millia Islamia University and Jawahar Lal University (JNU).

The dust is settled. The Sleeper Cells shouting Anti-CAA slogans are back to their normal lives. The false narrative surrounding an imaginary insecurity about being thrown out of this country after the enforcement of New Citizenship Law, falsely woven by the intellectual brains, vanished like a bubble in the ocean.

Delhi riots

The plot to harm the integrity of this country began last year through the academic channels especially Jamia Millia Islamia University and Jawahar Lal University (JNU). The students exercising their rights of Article 19(a), “Freedom of Speech and Expression” started protesting against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA). However slowly and steadily the protest somehow changed its shape. The slogans which seemed to be anti-government initially like “Modi Murdabad, Jamia Against CAA& NRC” and many more, shockingly took a communal shape.

The roots of Delhi riots cannot be seen as a situation of Muslims becoming more and more communal and Hindus becoming more and more aggressive. The old pattern of presenting and raising a fight, trying to project oneself as the champion of the monitories, is no more the case. The people of this country need to understand the nexus which worked behind the veil of the Anti-CAA protest turning it into the brutal bloodshed incident of East Delhi Riots. People of this country will have to pay heed to this warning and understand the communal page which is turned by the so-called intellectual groups and the orthodox Islamists.

Won't accept mediators suggestion of meeting in groups, asserts protesters at Shaheen Bagh

The leftist and Islamists in the name of protecting the constitutional morality raised their voice against Anti-CAA. They held a meeting in the mid of December 2019 for two major ventures i.e Anti-CAA/NRC fight at Jamia, which turned vicious and made the form of the Shaheen Bagh protest. The location and date for the riots were chosen intentionally due to the visit of US President Doland Trump. After this meeting, a group of women started protesting for anti-CAA protest at Shaheen Bagh, Delhi. As soon as the new Citizenship law got enacted, the fake pamphlets of NRC which was not brought up in the Parliament was circulated and burnt in protest on December 11, 2019. On the same day Umar Khalid, Sucheta De (Former AISA National President) and Sajjan Hussain ( journalist, J&K) visited Jamia. The slogans changed its shape. From there on, along with anti-government, the freedom of speech and expression got ignited by bringing a communal angle through slogans like, “ tera mera rishta kya: La Illah Illhah”(“What’s your relation with me : No God other than Allah” ). Students were also heard saying, “Ye shahar jagmagaega, nur-e-la-illaha se, Ye desh jagmagaye ga ,nur-e-la-illaha se, Nara-e-takbir, Allah hu Akbar”. With provocative speeches, the chant of “Nara-e-takbir, allah hu akbar” did the rounds. Ladeeda, who was hailed as a ‘shero’ bravely standing against oppression, turned out to be a fanatic who gave a call for Jihad on social media. It is pertinent to note that her friend Aysha Rena has called India a fascist for executing the Mumbai Blast Terrorist Yakoob Menon.

Sharjil Imam -

Another student of JNU Sharjil Imam’s exasperating speech not just included cutting Assam from India but also indicated that all he wanted to do was to instigate the Muslim Community to disrupt the nation and overthrow the government, and he also denounced what the Muslim community had been suffering for decades “It’s high time they should take revenge with the nation”. On one hand, Jamia walls were being blackened with the communal graphics, on the other hand, the pseudo-liberals were joining for the protests. Harsh Mander gave a very provocative speech, harming people’s belief in the judiciary by criticizing the Supreme Court and appealed to people to come out on roads as it was the only way to get justice. Medha Patekar,Alka Lamba, Prof Manoj Jha, who is also an M.P (Rajya Sabha) and the spokesperson of the Rashtriya Janata Dal, CPI leader Mr. Atul Kumar, All India NSUI president Mr. Neeraj Kunjan, Arundhati Roy,Anurag Kashyap and many more came forward to support this protest. After the address of the flag bearer of Left Liberals Arundhati Roy, blood-shedding slogans like “Jamia tere khoon se , inqalab ayega” were raised.

Tahir Hussain, AAP councillor -

Finally on 24th February 2020 the women empowering group Pinjra Tod engagement and the violence which broke out showed how pre-planned and targeted this three-months protest was. AAP MLA Tahir Hussain’s chargesheet clearly states that he got his licensed pistol released from Khajuri Khas Police Station just before the riots. Police said that on January 8, more than a month before the February Northeast Delhi riots, he met with former JNU student Umar Khalid and Khalid Saifi of the ‘United Against Hate’ at Shaheen Bagh anti-CAA protest, and Umar asked him “to be prepared for something big/riots at the time of Trump’s visit”, and “he and other PFI members will help him (Hussain) financially”. In the Jafrabad Riot case also, Delhi police filed a charge sheet on June 2. The list of arrested accused persons, in this case, includes the names of Natasha Narwal and Devangana Kalita. Both Natasha and Devangana belong to “Pinjra Tod Group” and were actively involved in hatching the conspiracy to cause riots near Jafrabad Metro Station. They were also part of a larger conspiracy and were found to be connected to the ‘India Against Hate’ group and Umar Khalid.

In the bloody violence in North-East Delhi, innocent IB officer Ankit Sharma was murdered with 400 stabbing wounds on his body, reportedly by AAP’s Tahir Hussain and his henchmen. Ratan Lal, a police constable was fatally shot in Gokulpuri, Rahul Solanki a civil engineer stepped out on that Black day to buy milk when shot in the neck, Vinod Kumar was beaten to death while many othes including Rahul Thakhur, Alok Tiwari, Parvesh and many more.

Therefore, it is clear that a communal protest followed by ‘staged violence’ was led by left-liberals and Islamists in the garb of constitutional protest.
