New Delhi: In the race to fill India’s head coach position, a new character emerged again in this ‘coaching’ conundrum. Earlier, it was decided that Gautam Gambhir will be the new India’s head coach after the initial interview rounds with various candidates did not result in a fruitful end. BCCI had considered many candidates for the job, however, they could not find anyone suitable enough to match the standards set by the previous coaches who had taken charge

However, a recent post from the former Indian women’s cricket team head coach WV Raman has posted a cryptic message on his X (formerly Twitter) which has left social media guessing. Gambhir still is the favourite candidate to replace Dravid. However, with the announcement still on hold is there a last-minute drama on the cards?

According to an unknown source, the interaction with CAC chairman Malhotra and his colleagues Jatin Paranjpe and Sulakshana Naik and Raman & Gambhir is not known. CAC is also interviewing a few candidates from the North Zone who can be a potential candidate.
