New Delhi: Bangladesh showed some unreal resilience in their final Super 4 match against India, by putting a total of 265 for 8, on the board after the end of 50 overs.

Earlier, both the teams decided to try something new as both made a total of 5 changes in their respective teams.
India decided to give rest to Virat Kohli, Hardik Pandya, Kuldeep Yadav, Md. Siraj and Jasprit Bumrah a much-needed rest before the all-important final against Sri Lanka on Sunday.
The Andhra Pradesh-based Tilak Varma was given his maiden ODI cap, only 45 days after his T20i debut against West Indies on August 3.
India skipper Rohit Sharma won the toss and invited the Bangladeshi team to bat first.
Indian bowlers proved their captain’s decision right as they put Bangladesh in early trouble by reducing them to 59 for 4, inside the 15 overs mark.
However, Bangladeshi skipper Shakib Al Hasan (80) and young Towhid Hridoy (54), added a 101-run partnership for the fifth wicket and led the fight back Bangladesh was desperately looking for.
India made a comeback with two quick wickets, but late cameos from Nasum Ahmed (44) and Mehedi Hasan (29*), helped Bangladesh to finish with a strong total of 265 for 8 after the end of full 50 overs.
Shardul Thakur was India’s most successful bowler for the day, with 3 wickets under his belt. Md. Shami, who got his second match of the tournament, also took 2 wickets, while Prasidh Krishna, Axar Patel and Ravindra Jadeja took one wicket each.
