New Delhi: The most anticipated event in Australia, the 11th season of the Big Bash League will kick-start from the Sydney Cricket Ground where defending champions Sydney Sixers will take on Melbourne Stars.
As per the rule, eight teams will be up against each other in a round-robin format in 56 games, then the top four teams will move to the knockout round of the tournament. The knockout round comprises five games – Eliminator, Qualifier, Knockout, Challenger, and the Final.
56 matches of total of 61 matches will be played during the group stage in the span of just 46 days.
