
New Delhi: It’s official now, the battle of titans will take place on October 15 in Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi stadium. The much-awaited World Cup encounter between arch rivals India & Pakistan will happen in mid October (Sunday).
With October 15, being a holiday, the mega clash of World Cup is set to record new numbers in viewership across all platforms – TV & digital. Also, Narendra Modi stadium boasting of a capacity of more than 1.25 lakh audience will be jam-packed with cricket fans as two cricketing rivals take on each other on Oct 15.
With International Cricket Council (ICC) releasing the fixtures for whole tournament, the ten teams will start revving up their preparations while sports lovers making a beeline to India for the grand sporting carnival.
India’s campaign & face-off with Pakistan
The Men in Blue will launch their World Cup campaign with first match against Australia in Chennai on October 8.

India Vs Pak in ICC tournaments
While the two teams are said to lock horns in the Asia Cup also, the upcoming World Cup match between India & Pakistan will be their third encounter in an ICC event.
India & Pakistan contested against each other in two previous events, namely in T20 World Cup 2021 (UAE) and T20 World Cup 2022 (Australia).
