New Delhi: India women’s team beat New Zealand 2-1 in shootout to win a bronze medal after the match ended 1-1 in full time.
Soon after their win, congratulatory messages started pouring in on social media.
President Draupadi Murmu congratulated India women’s team for winning bronze and also praised them for their spirited performance. She said ” team work have won hearts of each Indian. You have made India proud.”

Union Minister Kiren Rijiju sharing the pictures on Twitter congratulated team India for winning bronze. He also praised the team for their brilliant performance to make the entire nation proud.
