New Delhi: Former Indian cricketer, Arun Lal will be tying the knot with his long-time friend Bulbul Saha, on May 2, 2021. The wedding will be a private ceremony. Arun Lal is currently coaching the Bengal Ranji team while the 38-year-old lady is a teacher by profession. The two have been in a relationship for a long period of time.

According to reports, earlier the 66-year-old coach got engaged to Bulbul Saha and now the two are making it official next month. Lal and his previous wife, Reena parted their ways a long time ago and they mutually agreed to get a divorce. However, owing to her illness, Lal has been living with Reena for quite some time. Reports suggest that Lal and his would-be wife, Bulbul will be taking care of Reena after their marriage.

Reports by a leading news portal, News 18 Bangla stated that the former cricketer took consensus from his first wife and took the decision to marry Bulbul only after Reena agreed. Besides, a picture of their official invite has gone viral on the internet, which suggests that the duo will be tying the knot at Peerless Inn in Kolkata.

Domestic players, who used to play with Lal during his cricket days and officials of the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) are said to be invited to their wedding along with family members and close friends.

Meanwhile, Arun Lal was a familiar face in the commentary panel in both domestic and international games until 2016, when he was diagnosed with jaw cancer. Despite his illness, he had emerged to be one of the greatest coaches in the nation.
