In the fierce encounter against Pakistan also, India’s opening partnership collapsed but stellar innings by Virat Kohli & Hardik Pandya saved the blushes.
KL Rahul, India’s leading opening batsmen continues to grapple and his nightmare with the ball continued in Thursday match, where India is playing against Netherlands.
Rahul’s bat failed to fire once again in the match against minnows Netherlands and this prompted wave of reactions from the netizens. Many took to Twitter to take potshots at the cricketer for getting out cheaply against a weak team like Netherlands.

KL Rahul was dismissed in the 3rd by Paul van Meekeren. He got trapped in front of the stumps on 4th delivery. Although, the replays suggested that ball could missed the leg stump and his wicket could have been saved. However, the cricketer chose not to take review and had to return to the pavilion in just 3 overs of the match. He
consulted skipper Rohit Sharma before deciding against review.
