New Delhi: The countdown for Team India is finally over as the men in Blue look to avenge the infamous 36 all-out from the last tour of Australia which they suffered in Adelaide. The Adelaide Test is going to be a Day and Night affair. Indian skipper Rohit Sharma who was away for the birth of his first child is expected to replace Devdutt Padikkal. Moreover, Dhruv Jurel who failed to impress in the middle order could make way for Shubman Gill in the Playing 11.
On the other hand, the bowling department looks to remain the same with Bumrah, Siraj, Rana and Sundar taking charge. Although there were some rumours of Mohammed Shami making it into the playing 11, no official confirmation has yet arrived from BCCI.
Meanwhile, Australian captain Pat Cummins revealed that there would be only one change in their Playing 11 from the 1st Test. Scott Boland would replace Josh Hazlewood in Australia’s Playing 11 for the second Test.
