New Delhi: With just 6 more fixtures left, the league stage Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 is nearing its conclusion with each passing day.
However, right before the tournament progresses to its second & most crucial stage of the Playoffs, the England Cricket Board (ECB) made a brave decision to call back major English players who are part of their T20 World Cup 2024 squad to participate in the scheduled T20 series against Pakistan.
This resulted in prominent English cricketers including Rajasthan Royals’ Jos Butter, Kolkata Knight Riders’ Phil Salt, and Royal Challengers Bangalore’s Phil Salt leaving for their country while bidding farewell to their respective IPL franchises at such a pivotal stage.
