New Delhi: There is going to be a lot of cricketing action between former players as not just Road Safety World Series, but Legends League is also in line. Former Indian players Virender Sehwag, Gautam Gambhir, Harbhajan Singh and Irfan Pathan will be leading Gujarat Giants, India Capitals, Bhilwara Kings and Manipal Tigers respectively. The tournament will kickstart on September 16.
Legend League Cricket (LLC) will feature four teams playing 16 games to win the trophy. The league will begin in Eden Gardens in Kolkata and will be played in different venues in Lucknow, New Delhi, Cuttack and Jodhpur.
Sehwag showed excitement about returning to the sport and said that he will propagate a fearless brand of cricket. On the other hand, Gambhir talked about team spirit that will help India Capitals to win the league. Harbhajan Singh said, “Playing alongside all great players over the years, I have picked the nuances of the game which has made me a better cricketer. I love leading from the front and I hope I can do justice to the responsibility and faith shown on me.” Irfan Pathan also showed confidence before the league and talked about enjoying the game.
LLC also announced a game between India Maharajas and World Giants, where former Indian captain and current BCCI President Saurav Ganguly will lead the Indian side. Former England captain Eoin Morgan will lead the World Giants on September 16. The squads for both teams have been announced and are as follows:

Meanwhile, there is more to the legend’s action as Sachin Tendulkar will be leading the Indian Legends in the upcoming Road Safety World Series. The tournament will have players like Tillakaratne Dilshan, Ross Taylor, Shane Watson and more.
