New Delhi: After withdrawing from the 2023 Australian Open in early January, Naomi Osaka is said to have given birth to her first child, a daughter, on July 11 in Los Angeles. Osaka and her partner, the rapper Cordae, have been together since 2019.
Back in January, the happy couple shared the news that they were expecting their first child. In June, Naomi posted on Instagram that they were having a daughter and shared pictures from her princess-themed baby shower, saying ‘A Little Princess is on the way’. Cordae had also made the announcement informally at a performance last weekend, informing the crowd about his daughter.

Naomi was already on maternity break when she made her pregnancy announcement, giving her plenty of time to enjoy being a mother and recharge before her much-anticipated comeback to tennis. “The past few years have been interesting, to say the least, but I find that it’s the most challenging times in life that may be the most fun. These few months away from the sport have really given me a new love and appreciation for the game I’ve dedicated my life to,” Naomi said.
When asked about her goals for the future, Naomi said that she is fully committed to playing even better than she had in the past and that she was setting her eyes on competing in Australia the following year. Naomi also said that one of her goals is to bring home the gold medal for Japan in the future Olympic competition.
As the star tennis player Naomi Osaka and famous rapper Cordae begin their new journey as parents, the whole world is filled with hype and excitement for the bright future that lies ahead for their daughter.
