Paris Olympics 2024 August 6 India Schedule, Current Medal Tally and More

India’s golden boy Neeraj Chopra will begin his defence of the gold medal from the Tokyo Olympics as he takes part in the Men’s Javelin Qualification.

New Delhi: All eyes will be glued to the television sets as Neeraj Chopra begins his Paris Olympics 2024 journey. The Indian javelin thrower was the gold medalist in the last Olympics (Tokyo 2020) and will look to defend his medal in Paris 2024. Along with Neeraj, Kishore Jena will also participate in the Men’s Javelin Qualification.

Later in the day Indian grappler Vinesh Phogat will start her third Olympics at the Paris Olympics 2024. Vinesh Phogat finished in 10th and 9th places at the Rio 16 and the Tokyo 20. This time, however, Phogat looks confident to finish on the podium places. Meanwhile, the Indian men’s Table Tennis team will take on the Chinese team at the Men’s team Round of 16 competition.

At night, the Indian Men’s hockey team will take on Germany in the semifinals of the Men’s Hockey. The Indian team has a golden opportunity to win the game against Germany and qualify for the finals since the 1980s Moscow Olympis.
