New Delhi: Pro Kabaddi League, season 10 is heading towards the end of its second leg, and just before that, the host team ended their losing streak to secure their first win of the season.
Two teams who were searching for their first win of the season ticked the box, against two of the most dominant teams so far this season at the Shree Kanteerava Indoor Stadium, Bengaluru, on Monday.
In the first match of the day, the defending champions Jaipur Pink Panthers took on the table toppers Gujrat Giant, in their quest to get the first ‘W’ of the season.
Panthers took the initial lead in the match, but Giants made a remarkable comeback to take back the lead in the second half.
Gujrat Giants, riding on Sonu Jaglan’s shoulder, tried to make a comeback, but the Panthers’ lead raider, Arjun Deshwal, was having none of it, as he went all in to ensure the first of his team this season by a small margin of 3 points.

Arjun Deshwal (15 raid points) and Sunil Kumar (5 tackle points), were the stars for the defending champions on Monday night.

In the second match of the day, the hosts Bengaluru Bulls, despite opposition skipper Pardeep Narwal completing 1600 raid points in PKL history (The first one to achieve the milestone), scored their first win of the season with the score line of 38-36, in their favour.

Yoddhas were in the lead for the majority of the match, but Bulls raiders Vikash Kandola and Bharat led their team to a miraculous comeback and registered their first win of the season.
