Chris Burke, Paris reporter: Here we are again, Paris having won a first leg with such exhilarating attacking verve that it’s difficult to imagine them losing control. Except for those infamous occasions when they did – think Barcelona (2017) and Manchester United (2019). But having just survived a nervy return game against Barça, and with Bayern in weakened shape, they are surely not done with this competition yet.
Jordan Maciel, Bayern reporter: Bayern were bullish about their chances of turning this tie around in the wake of last week’s 3-2 defeat, but travel to Paris with several notable absentees. There’s no doubting the holders have the quality to get the result they need – as they showed in a largely dominant display in Munich – but it will take more clinical finishing and a faultless defensive performance.
