New Delhi: ‘Road Safety World Series 2021’ was resumed from March 5, in Chhattisgarh capital Raipur. Legends all around the world will play in the 15-days T20 tournament which is going to take place in Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Cricket Stadium. From India legends like Sachin Tendulkar, Virendra Sehwag, Yuvraj Singh and Zaheer Khan will play.
The series was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The T20 tournament was called off last year after 4 matches due to the increasing COVID-19 cases. Due to the travel restrictions, the Australia Legends team has dropped out of the tournament.
Bangladesh Legends and England Legends are the two new teams in the six-team event. Former England captain Kevin Pietersen will be leading England Legends while Mohammad Rafique will captain Bangladesh Legends.
