Tokyo Paralympics 2021: India’s full schedule, events and para-athletes competing in various categories

As the opening ceremony of Tokyo Paralympics kicks off today, lot many Indian sportspersons and celebrities have wished the para-athletes good luck ahead of their respective bouts.

New Delhi: As the Tokyo Paralympics gets ready to kick off on Tuesday, India has set its eyes on its biggest ever contingent to bring back medals and glory to the nation.

India has sent a total of 54 para-athletes in 9 disciplines and this makes it biggest Olympic contingent ever.

More than 4,000 para-athletes would be competing in the world sporting event. India’s campaign will begin from August 25.

Meanwhile, as the opening ceremony of Paralympics begins today, lot many Indian sportspersons and celebrities have wished the Indian athletes good luck ahead of their bouts.
