Shami, who was himself in Nanital, claimed that the accident happened right in front of his own eyes and he along with some other locals reacted in time to save the car driver’s life

New Delhi: Indian bowling maestro and World Cup 2023’s leading wicket-taker Mohammed Shami became a live-saving Messiah (angel) for an individual who met with a brutal car accident in Uttrakhand’s Nainital on Saturday.

Informing his fans about the same, Shami took to his Instagram handle last night and shared a clip featuring the ill-fated person who met with the accident.

Shami becomes life-saver

Narrating the whole ordeal, Shami said that the person met with an accident after his vehicle got out of control and went downhill into a ditch.

However, to his fortune, luck was on his side as a number of people came to his aid in time and evacuated him from the vehicle, preventing the possibility of any major mishap.

In his post, Shami, who was himself in Nanital, claimed that the accident happened right in front of his own eyes and he along with some other locals reacted in time to save the car driver’s life.

The pacer also attached a caption to the clip that read, “He’s so lucky god gave him 2nd life. His car fell down from the hill road near Nanital just in front of my car. We took him out very safely.”

I have driven buses and trucks

Meanwhile, in an interview with Puma’s YouTube channel, the veteran Indian cricketer opened up about his family background and revealed that he has driven all kinds of vehicles including cars, buses, and trucks.

He said, “I enjoy traveling, and fishing. I especially love driving. I like riding bike and driving a car. But after representing team India, I avoid riding bikes. What if I get injured? However,  when I go to my village to meet my mom, I sometimes ride my bike on the highways.”

“One of my school friends had a truck in his house. He told me to drive. I was very young at that time and was driving on a field. One day, I also drove my tractor into the pond after which my Dad yelled at me”, the cricketer added further.
