Virat Kohli not playing in second Test against South Africa, KL Rahul to captain India

India have taken a 1-0 lead in the three-match Test series after defeating Proteas by 113 runs in the first game.

New Delhi: Virat Kohli will not be playing in the second Test against South Africa as he has upper back spasm.

The match will be led by KL Rahul.

Meanwhile, KL Rahul has won the toss and has elected to bat first  in the second Test of the three-match series against South Africa at the Imperial Wanderers Stadium, Johannesburg on Monday.

Wicketkeeper-batter Kyle Verreynne will be in the Playing XI after Quinton De Kock announced his sudden retirement from Test cricket after the first game in Centurion.
