Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave a phone call to Olympic shooter Sarabjot Singh after he won the bronze medal in the Mixed Team 50 m Air Pistol event in the Paris Olympics.

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave a phone call to Olympic shooter Sarabjot Singh after he won the bronze medal in the Mixed Team 50 m Air Pistol event in the Paris Olympics. The PM who is usually occupied with a lot of work managed to take out time for the Indian shooter.

The video which has become viral on the Instagram of Viral Bhayani shows a calm and composed Sarabjot talking to the Prime Minister.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself tweeted about the accomplishment of the two shooters on his official X (formerly Twitter) id:

The conversation which was heard over the phone, saw PM Modi remarking “Many, many, many, congratulations to you. You have made your country proud!…” Sarabjot replied that it had been a long time since he and Manu had been teaming up in the nationals, junior World Cups and other World Cups. Sarabjot added that They will try to win the coveted gold medal next time.
