The minister added that the decision on the pending Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class 10th and 12th board exams will be taken soon.
"Not feasible now to conduct pending board exams for class 10, 12. Students should be promoted on the basis of performance in internal exams like it was done for classes 9, 11," Sisodia said.
The National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (UG) 2020 (NEET (UG) - 2020) will be conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to MBBS/BDS Courses and other undergraduate medical courses in approved/recognised Medical/Dental and other Colleges in India including the Institutions established under an Act of Parliament i.e. AIIMS and JIPMER Puducherry.

"The students have dedicated 2 years to clear this test, but due to the cyclone it would not be right to conduct this test for the entire country considering the fact that it is an All India Exam with admission based on merit," the letter further stated.
About 15 Lakh applications have been received by The National Testing Agency (NTA) for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) 2019 for admission to medical courses in the country and abroad.
