The gap between recoveries and active cases is 1,11,602 as of today. So far, as many as 3,21,722 patients have been cured of COVID-19. The recovery rate continues to steadily improve.
In a brief speech before the session, Major Gen Sharma said: "Yoga is not linked to any religion, caste or creed. It should be practised by everyone while being surrounded by nature."
In a release, the Health Ministry said, "The testing capacity for detecting the coronavirus in infected persons in the country is continuously being ramped up. The country now has the capacity to test 3 lakh samples per day.
The number of government labs has been increased to 646 and private labs has been increased to 247 (A total of 893). In the last 24 hours, 1,51,432 samples were tested. The total number of samples tested thus far is 56,58,614.
Recovery rate has witnessed marked increasing and it has almost reached 50%, meaning half of the Corona cases are being cured.
" In the last 24 hours, 1,43,737 samples were tested for the virus. The total number of samples tested so far standsat 55,07,182," the MoHFW said.

According to the latest data available on the website of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, there are 16,229 active cases of coronavirus in Delhi with 10,664 cured/migrated/discharged and 761 deaths.
“Results of examinations will be declared by August 15. Only after that schools will be opened,” said HRD minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank.
