New Delhi: Meta-owned popular instant messenger app WhatsApp is all set to roll out yet another striking feature in one of its upcoming updates to enhance the user experience of its customers.
As per the ongoing buzz on WABetaInfo, the instant messenger is soon going to feature a unique shortcut that will allow its users to share their WhatsApp status on the social media platform Instagram.
Share WhatsApp status on Instagram
Once the feature becomes available, users will be able to share their WhatsApp status on Instagram with the help of a shortcut button which will pop up every time someone posts their status on WhatsApp, offering them to share the same on their Insta handle.
Moreover, users will also be able to personally choose the people who will be allowed to see their WhatsApp status on Instagram. This means that you will have complete control of the sharing preferences for each and every WhatsApp status you share on Instagram using this feature.
However, in case you don’t want to use it you can also turn it off and prevent the pop-up button from showing on your screen while updating your status on the instant messaging app.
Once rolled out, this new feature will without a doubt increase the social reach of users by letting them share their status updates on Instagram and WhatsApp simultaneously and reach a wider audience conveniently.
However, as the new feature is still in the developing stage and is not a part of WhatsApp’s beta version either, it is hard to predict when will it be available for the public at large.
WhatsApp’s latest chat filter
Meanwhile, Meta also introduced another useful feature called ‘chat filter’ for WhatsApp’s beta version that will help users neatly organize their conversations. The feature provides users with several chat filters & categories from which they can choose the one they like and the same will help them organize their chats in an orderly manner.
