Vivo launches T2 5G series in India, check specs & pricing

In a recent development of the company, Vivo has recently introduced its new models of Vivo T2 5G and Vivo T2x 5G in India.

New Delhi: Vivo, the Chinese brand which has evidently become popular in the Indian market for its Smartphone, provides a widespread list of features for customers. Especially among the gen-Z, it became a ‘cool’ trend to carry Vivo with them. And once again, the brand created a buzz in the Indian mobile industry.

In a recent development of the company, Vivo has recently introduced its new models of Vivo T2 5G and Vivo T2x 5G in India. This T2 series was introduced in the market on 11 April 2023. Apparently, the new pieces will differ from other Chinese rivals in terms of design and other specifications.

What are the specifications of the new series?

  • Both models available in the market, come with 8GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage.
  • The Vivo T2 5G comes with a Snapdragon 695 SoC system on chip and Vivo T2x 5G will hold MediaTek Dimensity 6020 SoC.
  • They are equipped with an AMOLED FHD+ display with rich brightness and 360Hz Touch rate.
  • It may run on FunTouch OS, which is based on Android 13.
  • The T2 phone carries 4,500mAh battery power.

What is the pricing strategy?

Looking at the prices of these handsets, reports believe that the Vivo T2 5G and Vivo T2x 5G also proves to be the most affordable 5G phones of the Chinese brand. Vivo T2 5G will be available for sale at a price of Rs. 18,999 while the latter will cost Rs. 12,999.

When will it be available?

The Vivo T2 will be out on Flipkart, the e-commerce site, on April 18, while T2x will be available on April 21, for sale.

To note, India is slowly and gradually becoming a suitable choice for companies to launch their products, considering the wide range of population in the country. Recently, Apple launched its plan to open its first Indian store in Mumbai. All this evidently makes the Indian market flourish and makes the Indian customers widen their purchase range of brands.
