New Delhi: The micro-blogging site Twitter has removed its blue tick from various legacy verified accounts. Many famous personalities including Actor Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar, Cricketer Virat Kholi, MS Dhoni, and Politicians like Rahul Gandhi, Yogi Aditya Nath, and former UP CM Mayavati have been removed from this verified account legacy. The changes were announced by Musk on April 12, stating that from 20 April onwards blue tick will be removed from the accounts. Only those who will pay monthly charges for the verified account will get a blue tick on their accounts. Countries like USA, UK, and Canada have already been through these changes.
