New Delhi: The Uttar Pradesh Police detained Azam Ansari, the Bollywood actor Salman Khan’s lookalike, on Sunday for disrupting the peace in a public location. He was apprehended while spinning a reel on the clock tower near the Thakurganj police station. A challan for breach of peace has also been issued to the replica actor in Thakurganj police station under section 151. The replica actor, who has a large social media following, was known for filming video reels in the middle of the road. He used to make reels in public while half-naked or smoking a cigarette. However, massive people flocked to the route to view the phoney Salman Khan, causing major traffic congestion.
