New Delhi: Afghan local artist, Fawad Andarabi, was dragged out of his home and killed by the Taliban in Kishnabad village of Andarab on Saturday.
The news about the famous folk singer death was confirmed by his son.
This comes days after the Taliban enforced new rules for music and for women travelling alone.
Asvaka News, Local media outlet quoted former interior minister Massoud Andarabi to confirm the news.

“Music is forbidden in Islam,” Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid had stated. “But we’re hoping that we can persuade people not to do such things, instead of pressuring them.”
