New Delhi: Moments after murderous attack on Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan, the former Pakistan PM has asserted that he will soldier on and continue his fight.
This is the first statement by Imran Khan after the assassination attempt on him during the long march. The former Pak PM is reported to have been injured in the attack and has sustained bullet injuries in his leg. The assailant was soon nabbed by the security forces.
After the murderous attack on Imran, PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry also addressed the gathering and declared that Imran & party will not budge from its stated objective and fight will continue.
The party is set to hold protest at Liberty Chowk against the cowardly attack on Imran Khan.

Earlier, the PTI via its Twitter handle said that Imran Khan was the Red Lion of Pakistan and an attack on him is an attack on Pakistan.
“Today, an attempt was made to cross that Red Lion,” it said in a tweet.
Imran waved at supporters before being taken to hospital
PTI twitter handle also shared a video of Imran Khan from the rally, which it claimed to be the moment after assassination attempt.
In the Video, he is seen in stable condition. He also came out of the long march container to wave at the supporters. It said that despite shot in the leg, Imran Khan came outside to wave at his supporters.
