New Delhi: In a shocking development, former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan was attacked during his long march rally. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief was reportedly injured in the terror attack. Alongwith him, 4-5 more people are said to be injured in firing incident and have been subsequently injured.

TV reports said that a person named Musallah has been nabbed by the security forces. He is said to be the person who fired shots at Imran’s long march container.

How attacker targeted Imran’s rally

PTI chief Imran Khan was seated in front of the container, when shots were fired at the long march container. The assailant reportedly launched indiscriminate firing from the sideways and this resulted in injury to at least 5-7 persons.

Imran Khan is said to have sustained bullet injury in his leg, however, he is said to be safe & undergoing treatment in hospital.

Injured Senator Faisal Javed speaks on Assassination attempt

Faisal Javed Khan, a Pakistani senator who himself got injured in firing told a local news channel that Imran Khan is safe. He also confirmed that one person has lost his life in the assassination attempt on the former Pak PM.
