Pak TV debate on India’s Chandrayaan-3 evokes laughter on social media (VIDEO)

Fawad Chaudhry, former Pakistan Minister of Science and Technology, reacting to Chandyaan-3 launch said, “there is no need to send satellites on Moon as it is visible from the Earth.”

New Delhi: The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) scientists received worldwide acclaim & admiration for successful lift off of Chandryaan-3 on July 14, as it came within years of failed launch in 2019 & subsequent challenges posed during Covid-19 pandemic.

While the global community hailed Indian scientists for amazing feet, a former Pakistan minister tried to poke fun at India’s third moon mission, which in turn put him in direct line of fire. The former Pakistani became butt of jokes on social media for his supposed buffoonery on LIVE television debate.

Fawad Chaudhry, former Pakistan Minister of Science and Technology, reacting to Chandyaan-3 launch said, “there is no need to send satellites on Moon as it is visible from the Earth.”

The ex-Pak minister made these remarks during a LIVE television debate on a local new channel. After the video clip landed on social media, it created quite a buzz & evoked laughter on social media as many were baffled over his ludicrous observations.

The former minister though congratulated India & ISRO on the successful launch, he mocked the mission, saying, “Itne papad belne ki zaroorat nahi hai.”

Fawad Chaudhry said this when he as asked about ISRO’s new space mission.

Chandrayaan-3 is India’s third moon mission and intends to make a soft launching on Moon’s surface on August 23. If successful, India will join select league of nations to achieve a similar feat.
