
New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi was greeted with a fine rainbow and a musical welcome by the Bavarian band as he landed in Munich to participate in the G7 summit on Sunday.
In the ongoing summit, which is being hosted by Germany, PM Modi will hold meetings with partner nations on issues like food security, energy, climate change, and counter-terrorism.
The meetings are scheduled to be held from June 26 – 27, wherein Modi will take part in a discussion with Indian diaspora, apart from his meeting with world leaders.
Sharing a video of PM’s arrival in Germany, the official spokesperson of the Ministry of External Affairs, Arindam Bagchi took to his Twitter handle and wrote, “At the invitation of @Bundeskanzler Olaf Scholz, PM @narendramodi arrives in Germany for the G7 Summit”.

Meanwhile, the Indian community in Germany is preparing for the mega discussion event with PM Modi in Munich, with hundereds of participants expected to perform various acts in the programme. The event will take place in Munich’s Basketball court Audi MDome, which will adorn with the ‘Vande Matram’ song.
After the global coronavirus pandemic, this will be the largest gathering of the Indian diaspora in the country.
