New Delhi: Released in theatres on June 21, 2024, the drama picture Fancy Dance had its world debut at the Sundance Film Festival on January 20, 2023. The movie will finally be available on streaming service Apple TV+ on June 28th.
An emotional new film called Fancy Dance, which is available on Apple TV+, features Oscar-nominated actress Lily Gladstone. At the 2023 Sundance Film Festival, Erica Tremblay’s feature debut, Fancy Dance, which she co-wrote with Miciana Alise and directed, had its world premiere.
Plot
The story centres on Jax, a woman whose sister goes missing with no explanation. While Jax is taking care of her niece Roki, who is very young, she is preoccupied with locating her sister and caring about her. The situation changes dramatically when Roki’s adoptive father, who is a divorcee, obtains legal custody of Roki.
Jax tries to regain her trust one night and returns her to her father. She visits him before she and Roki run away from his house. But Jax finds out that she’s been in the news a lot and that the cops are looking for her because she’s carrying Roki.
When Jax saw that everyone was looking for her, she knew that nobody was looking for Roki’s mom. Jax and Roki set out on an individual mission to find out what happened when social services threatened to remove them from each other after local authorities failed to prioritize the search.

Online streaming of the film will begin on June 28, 2024. You may watch it on Apple TV+. Since its debut on June 21, 2024, for a very restricted one-week theatrical run, Fancy Dance has only been made accessible in selected theatres.
