Plot
The series narrates that a high school friend who vanished twenty-five years ago on their graduation trip to Mallorca reappears, shocking a group of women whose seemingly perfect lives are rocked to their core.
Several women have tranquil lifestyles in this series adapted from a book by Elia Barceló. An accomplished film director named Rita unwillingly goes back to her native Alicante, Spain, to settle her mother’s inheritance. After some evasion and discomfort, she eventually becomes a member of her high school clique again, and it all starts with a fragile dinner party.
When police find the body of Mati, a classmate who went missing while on a senior trip to Mallorca, the reunion takes an already difficult turn. It’s puzzling how Paula, Mati’s younger sister, manages to fit in her police job with all her scowling and gum chewing. Paula will go through the home films the girls recorded when they were teenagers to establish that these ladies know more than what they’re letting on.
