New Delhi: In the days leading up to the release of his most recent film, Siren, Tamil actor Jayam Ravi went through a transitional period that was laden with tension. Plot
An honest Kanchipuram ambulance driver named Thilagan is imprisoned for the murder of his wife Jennifer and his friend Kathir after being wrongfully charged and given a life sentence. Now, fourteen years after Jennifer and Kathir’s murders, he returns to the streets for a brief period of parole to get revenge. What follows is the narrative of Thilagan’s revenge on their killers and his reconciliation with his daughter Malar, who harboured resentment against him after his murder of Jennifer.
Jayam Ravi and Keerthy Suresh are featured in the trailer for Siren, which has already been released by the creators. In the preview, we see Jayam Ravi incarcerated after being suspected of murder while working as an ambulance driver. Upon receiving parole, he is thrust into a perilous quest where long-buried secrets emerge, urging him to prove his innocence.
