Going by the reports, the incident took place back in late April 2024 when the accused couple indulged in their private act at New York’s Battery Park in the presence of over 100 onlookers.

Later, someone from the crowd took the duo’s ‘blanket intercourse’ video & uploaded it on TikTok. Within no time, the clip went viral on the Chinese video-hosting platform, amassing over 40 million views in just a matter of a few days.

The vulgar video recording eventually also found its way to other global social media where it attracted a lot of attention from the netizens.

Meanwhile, with the video being rapidly shared on the internet once again, social media users are calling out at the duo while demanding authorities to take legal action against them.

While some are siding with the couple, claiming that they were entirely covered by the blanket and were only minding their own business, others are lashing out at the duo for being vulgar in a public place.

Speaking on the incident, one X user wrote “Idk I feel like people are not taking the NYC blanket couple situation seriously enough for me. they are having sex in a park IN FRONT OF CHILDREN like that is not okay.”

Another added, “One can clearly make out what they are doing despite them being inside the blanket, hence it doesn’t matter if they are under the blanket or not, they are liable to face legal action. A third user penned, “They aren’t doing this inside the home.”
