Illuminated and effulgent, completely radiant and shining , the healer is healed in Her light.
The third Maha Vidya is Chinnmasta. Her friends Dakini and Vamini were hungry and appealed to Her, telling Her that she was the Mother of the Universe and they her hungry children. The compassionate mother then with Her own finger nail cut Her own head. Her own energies flowed out and the friends appeased their hunger. Chinnmasta shines like a lightening bolt from the sun. She demonstrates the rare courage needed to make the highest conceivable sacrifice. She blesses us from the direction of the highest healing light. Healing hugs of courage. Love from the frontier of friendship.
