ABVP’S 66th national conference kicks off, hundreds of students participate via video link

ABVP’S 66th national conference begins: Nearly one and a half lakh students, professors and social workers are participating in this conference through video conferencing and screening at 4000 places across the country.

New Delhi: 66th national conference of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) was inaugurated in Nagpur today by Sarkaryavah (National General Secretary) Bhaiyyaji Joshi of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). Activists and students from various ABVP units are participating in the conference through video conferencing this year. Students of various educational institutions including DU, JNU are participating in the video conferencing of this program being held at 22 places in Delhi.

Nearly one and a half lakh students, professors and social workers are participating in this conference through video conferencing and screening at 4000 places across the country.

The conference programs being held at different places in Delhi were inaugurated by different social workers and professors etc. Payal Maggo, principal of Shaheed Rajguru Singh College, former DUSU president Vikas Dahiya, former JNUSU vice-president Govind Mishra, North Delhi MCD Mayor Jai Prakash, Vivek Vihar councillor Sanjay Goyal etc. were the prominent personalities present.

Dr. Abhishek Tandon State President of ABVP Delhi said, “We have continued the dialogue through digital sessions this session. Today, hundreds of students from Delhi had a meaningful dialogue in the conference through virtual mediums and discussed on education and current situation.

At present time new circumstances have arisen mainly due to various reasons including Corona Virus, the entire field of education is being operated through online mediums for many months. So being the leading student organization in the field of education, we have explored new opportunities and gave meaningful communication about education.

Through this program, the students were inspired to move ahead with the coordination of traditional and modern knowledge, we hope that the present generation will take the country forward by organizing itself in the changed circumstances. “
