
New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will chair an important meeting regarding the various options available for Class 12 Board Examinations. The PM will be briefed on all possible options, as a result of the extensive discussions with all states and other stakeholders, news agency ANI reported quoting government sources.
The meeting today evening is likely to decide on the final decision – whether or not the exams are being cancelled. And if not, then how would the exams be conducted.

The government has come up with three alternatives –
Option A: holding exams for only major subjects.
Option B: holding exams on a new format including short answer-type questions.
Option C: assessing students based on their performance in the past three academic years.
