New Delhi: Actress Rakhi Sawant is trending on microblogging site Twitter, after Punjab Congress President Navjot Singh Sidhu was compared to her by AAP spokesperson Raghav Chadha in one of his recent tweets.
Aam Aadmi Party spokesperson Raghav Chadha in a political tweet on Friday wrote, “The Rakhi Sawant of Punjab politics -Navjot Singh Sidhu- has received a scolding from Congress high command for non stop rant against Capt. Therefore today, for a change, he went after Arvind Kejriwal. Wait till tomorrow for he shall resume his diatribe against Capt with vehemence”.

The tweet came in response to a video posted by Navjot Singh Sidhu slamming Arvind Kejriwal over farm reform laws.
Chadha’s tweet didn’t go down well with social media users and leaders of opposition parties. Netizens took a nab at Chadha for his ‘sexist’ comment and filled his comment section with critical remarks.
Sawant has now received support from husband, Ritesh. She took to her Instagram account to share recently screenshots of her Ritesh’s tweets in her support. She also thanked him and wrote that she is grateful that someone is there to stand by her. As per the reports, Rakhi Sawant tied the knot with Ritesh, a UK-based NRI businessman in 2019.

In his several tweets, Ritesh wrote, “@raghav_chadha, @PunjabPoliceInd, @BJP4India, @INCIndia, @AamAadmiParty, FYI, please do not spoil someone personal life because of your political benefits. @ArvindKejriwal, please apne MLA ko educate kejye else agar mai educate keya to kahi bhi AAP nahi dikhega”.
