New Delhi: Bollywood actor and self-styled film critic Kamal Rashid Khan aka KRK walked out of jail on Thursday, after serving nine days in prison. However, moments after his release, his son Kamal Rashid Kumar said that his father is being tortured & tormented to ‘drive him to death’. However, he didn’t specify whether his father received death threats or how the popular film critic was being tortured and by whom.
KRK’s son Kamal Kumar took to Twitter today and said that some people are torturing to kill my father in Mumbai.
He also urged some personalities from Bollywood including Junior Bachchan and Riteish Deshmukh to offer help in safeguarding his life.

“I am living in London. I don’t know how to help my father. I request @juniorbachchan, @Riteishd and Devendra Fadnavis to come to his rescue,” he wrote on Twitter.
Further venting his misgivings on KRK’s fate like popular Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, he said that he doesn’t want his father to walk down that road and also urged people to support his father through the difficult period.

Sushant Singh Rajput, one of the most promising actors of current generation, allegedly committed suicide at his residence in 2020. Many reports blamed power brokers with top-level connection to be behind his ‘murder plot’, however, nothing substantial to this effect could be established.
His imploration on the social media also drew interest of netizens, who tweeted and extended support to his post & his father.
KRK’s arrest & then re-arrest
Actor & producer Kamal R Khan was arrested on August 29 for his offensive tweets on Irrfan Khan and Rishi Kapoor in 2020. Though he got bail but was again arrested on September 3 over 2021 molestation charge. A fitness trainer had accused him of assaulting her during training session.
