New Delhi: Bollywood Actor Akshay Kumar has served a Rs 500-crore defamation notice against a YouTuber who had allegedly named him in the Sushant Singh Rajput case, as per a report by mid-day. YouTuber Rashid Siddiqui was earlier arrested by the police for spreading fake news and dragging the name of Maharashtra’s CM Uddhav Thackeray and his son Aaditya Thackeray in the case.

Rashid Siddiqui who runs channel FF news on Youtube has been accused of running hate campaigns by publishing fake stories regarding the death of Sushant Singh Rajput.

The daily reported that Siddiqui had earned over Rs 15 lakh in four months for his content on the Sushant Singh Rajput death case. The 25-year-old is a civil engineer from Bihar and owns a YouTube channel titled FF News.

The YouTuber had also claimed that Kumar was unhappy with Sushant bagging MS Dhoni: The Untold Story.

According to the report, police have filed a case on charges of defamation, public mischief, and intentional insult. The court granted him anticipatory bail and asked him to cooperate with the police in the investigation.
