New Delhi: National Award filmmaker Nitin Neera Chandra has released the full Chhath song in Maithali on Bejod Channel. Apart from rich visuals the makers have kept COVID-19 in mind.
The makers have given a strong message for the people who will be celebrating the festival by keeping precautions in mind at the time of covid-19 pandemic.
The song is in maithali language. The song is produced by Neetu N Chandra and Nitin Neera Chandra, directed by Nitin Neera Chandra. Singer-Sushant Asthana, Music is given by G. One and Sushant Asthana. The lyrics of the song are written by Vivek Ranjan Aditya Krishna.
The makers released Chhath featuring Bollywood actor Kranti Prakash Jha and Kristine Zedek.
This is the 5th Volume of Chhath song produced by Nitin Neera Chandra, and every year he tries to come up with strong visuals which makes Bihari feel proud and connected with their roots.
Chhath Puja is widely celebrated in the country but predominantly it is the major festival in Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh and parts of Nepal. Chhath Puja is believed to be the only Vedic Festival dedicated to Surya (the Sun God).
